I am here at the ranch in Montecito where she and her family lived during Jill’s high school days. It made me think of her instantly...listening to - blaring- AC/DC and dancing around her house.  I would take two bus a to get here and stay for days.

I had not known that she went on to be a producer or talent manager, but just happened to google her name.

I am truly saddened to find out of her ultimate demise.

She was a truly lovely person and I hold only the fondest most innocent memories of hanging at the ranch - we had so much fun together  here at the ranch long before its development & long before scocial media....my heart bleeds.

I was a budding screenwriter in the mid 1990's and met Jill through my agents.  She was kind, encouraging and just plain wonderful.  I was very worried about making any kind of success out of myself in the business but I can remember landing a good writing gig in 1996 and then running into her days later in Westwood.

I told her my good news.  She hugged me and said "I never worry about you, Scott.  Just trust your talent."

God Bless you Jill.  It's been years since I last saw you but that memory of you will stay with me for the rest of my life.
