Johanna Lynn Hubrig of Westlake Village, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 28, 2023 with her family at her side. Johanna was born in Los Angeles, but grew up in Glendale, CA. She graduated from Glendale High School, and spent the next 30 years as a loyal employee of Vons where she was well liked by her co-workers. In her free time, Johanna loved a good challenge, competing in family home games, even watching sports on television. Johanna enjoyed life, including spending time with family and friends. She was never afraid to try new things, and never let anything discourage her. She is survived by her mother Phyllis Curlee, and step-father William Curlee, father David Hubrig, brother Philip Hubrig, aunt Loraine Turturo, uncle Charles Turturo, and many relatives. Johanna was a beautiful and remarkable woman. Her kind and gentle nature will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 23rd 2023 at 10 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, Westlake Village, California. A reception will be immediately following the service.
