Jule M. Hopkins 92 of Westlake Village, CA. was born in Newark, NJ. on May 7, 1926 to Martin William and Florence Catherine (Chadwick) Higgins. Jule passed away on September 8, 2018 of natural causes.
She was married to Grover C. Hopkins and spent 48 years together until his passing in 1995.
Jule is preceded in death by her Husband Grover, her parents, and one son Thomas Hopkins.
Jule is survived by son, John and wife Cheryl of Culpeper, VA. and daughter, Mary Whitlock and husband Brand of Westlake Village, CA. Six grandchildren, Kevin, Erin, Julie, Sarah, Connor and Christian and four great grandchildren, Meghan, Jo-lee, Corrine and Brody. Sister Ruth Drewniany of Leavenworth, WA.
Jule enjoyed a career in Banking as a Branch Manager and Officer. After retirement she devoted much of her time volunteering in local organizations to raise awareness and money for charity. She was a member of Westlake Women's Club and the Vice President of the Friends of Westlake Library. She was an avid reader, gardener and loved going to the movies. Jule loved life and will be dearly missed.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, September 18th for 2 to 6 pm at Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Mortuary at 5600 Lindero Canyon Rd. Westlake Village, CA 91362.
