Liza Lorentzo Pledger

July 20, 1978 and on that day the world became a brighter place. Liza lived her life to the fullest and lived it her way. She often said, 'it's not the years in your life but the life in your years'. She was a shining star whose light was extinguished too soon on this earth but will continue to shine on us from heaven. Liza passed into God's arms on June 27, 2015 and our hearts will be forever broken.

After high school, Liza attended Pepperdine University, earning a degree in Business. Upon graduating, she went to work for Amgen, where she would spend 13 successful years. During this time, she touched many people's lives and created lifelong friendships. She was also blessed to meet her soulmate and loving husband, Brock while working there.

Liza had many hobbies, including running marathons, Krav Maga, yoga, hiking with her husband, Brock, writing and painting with her sister, Dina.

Born in Torrance, CA, a resident of Woodland Hills, CA since 2013. She is survived by her loving husband, Brock, her amazing sister, Dina and her wonderful parents, George & Hoda. She was predeceased by her beautiful Mother, Billie Kontaxi & Grandparents, Jim & Soula Crase.

When Liza married Brock, she also became the daughter and older sister to his family, Gary & Jennifer (in-laws), Bob & Lisa (in-laws), Brandon & Erika, Jeremy, Zack & Lauren Lunney, Ashton, Chelsey, Zachary, Garrison & her youngest sister, Katherine (siblings).
