Lois Fern Carlson

(Lois) Fern Carlson of Ventura, California, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the age of 90 years old. She was born Lois Fern Harris on January 7, 1933 to Royden G. and Lois V. Harris in Detroit Michigan. She was married to Roy M. Carlson on January 5, 1952. Roy and Fern moved to California in 1965 with their family and eventually to Ventura in 1970. Throughout her life, Fern worked a variety of jobs until her retirement in 2006. She had a lifelong commitment to her church and her belief in God. She last attended PowerHouse Church of the Nazarene in Ventura. Fern is survived by her daughter, three grandchildren and two great-grand children who will miss her dearly. A memorial service in honor of Fern will be held at Powerhouse Church of the Nazarene on May 20th, 2023 at 11 a.m.
