No one loved life more than Marg, and her life was her family. She thoroughly enjoyed the planning of trips, almost more than the trips themselves, whether it be visiting her children and grandchildren, various places in the United States and Europe, or Canada; the country of her birth.
Marg spent a great deal of time and effort on genealogy research, tracing the immigration of her family to Canada from England. Regardless of whatever endeavors her family members were pursuing, she was always interested and supportive.
The single most important aspect of her life was her marriage, but never at the expense of neglecting other members of her family. She looked upon her 54 years of marriage with pride, not in its longevity, but in the quality of each and every year and knew her husband felt the same way.
Marg loved all of her 5 children equally, as she did her 17 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Marg will not just be missed by her family, but by all whom she met. She is irreplaceable and we will never forget her.
She is survived by her husband Phillip; daughters and spouses Leslie and Patrick Reinert and Heather and Mark Needham; daughter Shannon Billings; son and spouse Stephen and Melissa Billings; son Luke Billings, and of course all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law John and Joan Hewer, her sister Nancy Smith, her cousin Peter Hewer, and her nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Padre Serra Parish on Saturday, July 14th at 1 p.m. in Camarillo. Condolences can be made at www.piercebrothersvalleyoaks.com. Please do not send flowers.
