My grandfather knew Monty, i was born at the Huntington Hospital across the street from Monty's Pasadena. I was a patron at both Pasadena locations, Westwood and now the last location Woodland Hills. Mike's mom was always there with a smile and class. I know Mike will continue their restaurant with the same warm hospitality  as his grandfather, uncle, dad and mother have been doing. We just heard tonight that Bobbie died. Our lives were blessed by her presence. We send love and prayers to Larry and Michael.  

I first met Bobbie in 1974. I was seven years old and my parents used to take us to Monty's Encino for dinner. One thing I remember, as a kid was Bobbie welcoming us to Monty's and showing us to our table in the Encino restaurant.  She always was so welcoming and asked us how everyone was doing. Fast forward forty four years later, and there was Bobbie always welcoming my wife and I to the Monty's, Woodland Hills. She would give us a kiss hello and ask me how my folks were doing.  She was always so sweet and genuinely interested in learning about what was going on with my family.  She would make sure we got a good table and kibitz with us all the way until we were seated. A lot of things have changed in forty four years, but one thing remained constant, Bobbie's ever present smile and enthusiasm. No matter what was going on, she remained that 100 watt smile and personality, that I first met all those years ago, when I was just a kid. The best part about coming to Monty's was seeing Bobbie and embracing her infectious personality.  We are going to miss her greatly.  I am so sorry to see Bobbie has left us, but I feel so fortunate to have known her for all these years, and will treasure those wonderful memories. They will occupy a special place in my heart and will stay with me forever. All our love to the Levine Family.  Gary & Sheryl Kramer.      

We are so glad we got the opportunity to know Bobbie and to have spent some time with her.  She was a special lady.  We hope the joyous and fun memories you have will bring a smile to your face and give you comfort. 

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

so sorry to hear of roberta's passing. Though it has been over 20 years since I have seen her I remember how wonderful you all were when my son was in California and we all ate at Monty's. Time passes so quickly. My best to the family.
