Dearest Shirley, Lori, Juli, Brandi, Nick & Liz and Ryan:

We pray you are surrounded with all the love and comfort from all of us who also loved your Father, Husband, Grandfather and Best Friend, Bill Fortune.  He was the most generous and kind person we have ever known and will always be grateful for the love he personally showed to each and every one of us. Our hearts grieve with you during this most difficult time and in the months to come adjusting to life without him.  This will not be easy. We pray that Jehovah will give you all the strength to endure until you can be reunited with him again!  We love you all.  You are our family too!  Love and blessings to you all!

Dear Shirley & Family,

Our hearts go out to you over your loss.  We have so many fond memories of the times we shared with you and your family in the ministry and at our meetings.  We are especially grateful for the loving concern that he showed to Hisako's parents while we were in Colorado.  It was difficult for them because of the language barrier, but there was no problem understanding the love that he showed them.

Thank you for sharing the beautiful collage of memories with us.  We look forward to the time when memories will become a reality in Jehovah's New World.

To our dear family, Gee and i send our deepest condolences.
We will miss Bill very much, but he will never be forgotten. Looking around our home we see reminders of him. Clocks and torches of all sizes not to mention the trains and humming birds.
We thank Jehovah that because of him we had Bill as a friend and we treasure that very much.
Love to all of you till we are all reunited in a better time to come.

We are thinking of you all at this difficult time but we know the love within your tight family will pull you all through along with Jehovah's loving comfort and support in the weeks and months to follow. 

In comparison to others we only got to know Bill in the last few years especially when we had the privilege of staying with the family in Malibu. Bill was such a gentle, kind and loving man with a warm, caring and generous disposition who was clearly loved by all those around him especially his family.  

We look forward to a time when we can see his smile again.

Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was a kind, generous and thoughtful man. He was always ready to help, materially, physically and most important spiritually, especially to those who served Jehovah. 
I still  remember how welcome he made me feel the very first time I met him over 20 years ago and how that never changed over the years.
We are grateful and privileged to have known him and i will miss cooking for him next time I visit.
Jehovah's arm of strength will comfort and support you all, along with the hugs from all of us who hold you dear in our hearts.

Dear Fortune Family, our sympathy goes out to your family. One fond memory I had of meeting Mr. Fortune was in a hospital. Mr. Fortune and his daughter was visiting a patient there. It was heartwarming for me to see both of them do a shepherding visit on a member of the flock who was not yet baptized. It showed consideration and love.  That is how our paths crossed.

Our deepest condolences, heartfelt love & support to the entire Fortune Family at this time of loss.  Bro Fortune will greatly be missed for he was a very dear and a special person to many people in so many ways. It was such a privilege and delight knowing him, a very sweet and a true "gentleman" who touched the hearts of many.

Thank you for giving me the honor of serving your family at this delicate time. You are such a large, supportive group that obviously loves each other very much. I'm sure Bill is as grateful to have had you as you feel blessed to have had him in your lives.
