Na was a close friend for many years and a good man!

I worked with Zuni at 4950. His sarcastic twisted humor was beyond hilarious. He always made work super fun.

He was the type of person who would see you down and poke fun at himself to make you laugh.

 So grateful our paths crossed and I got to experience him. He was so kind, loving and humble although he would never admit it.

He got me into Snoopy, he burned all the specials (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Etc) on DVDs for me with his brother’s fancy software that was the latest and greatest available at that time in the early 2000’s. Thanks to his appreciation of Snoopy my daughter’s now have that same appreciation of Snoopy too. Thank you Zuni, love you and will miss you always.

Dear Zuni,
I don't remember the exact date I met you,  but I always remember when working in the cage or passing by I try to find you,  to greet you and to see how you are doing.  I remember how hardworking you are, even though you always joke around and say that I'm the one who works too much, pushing you to do more work 😊.  When I talk to you I know that the advice and answers you give me are always sincere and for my benefit.  We will always miss the gum that you usually left for everyone to use.  
You are a nice person with a very kind heart ❤, always thinking of helping and supporting others first than thinking about your self. 
Rest in peace Dear friend , you will be on my mind and in my heart 💛.

Every day when I  come  to work  and schedule in the cage  I always  hope Zuni is there.  Because  you helped me do all the hard work.  You brought  me  all the fruits  from your mom's garden .You are  the  best  coworker I  ever met. You will be in my heart  forever.

No words can describe our grief and sorrow when our beloved Zuni suddenly passed away. To all of us, He was mom’s closest son, a funny and zany brother, a cool uncle, an ever loyal friend and more. His endearing cheerfulness, and funny jokes always lift us in hard time. He’s always generous to all of us and willing to help no matter how hard the tasks are. He has given us much and never ask anything in return. There are so many golden memories of him that we’ll never get tired of recollecting. We are not surprised, and very grateful that so many of his loyal friends and co-workers love him and treasure his company. Zuni, you did your best for all of us. In tears and broken heart, we will watch you fade away. You will be forever missed and always remembered in our heart. Rest in peace gentle brother…

Zuni,
I remember when I first started working mornings at CRP and was scheduled to work the cage.  We were backed up in picking (over 60 picks) & the first thing “OR” did was send Zuni to help.  He was so fast & such a hard worker.  He never complained.    He got us caught up in no time.   As I got to know Zuni, I learned how humble & kind & funny he was.   He was one of my favorite people at the cage.   He would crack jokes & brighten your day no matter how busy we were.   I will miss you Zuni.  I will miss our talks.  CRP will never be the same without you, & working the cage will never be the same.  Rest In Peace my friend.  
 

My Dear Zuni...ABC Dental will never be the same with out you, I am so sad I still don't believe your gone! My saturdays will be boring without you sucker😔 I remember the first time I met you at the office, you were looking so nice in your suit but I know you hated wearing suits you were a simple guy! My buddy Zuni my sucker I cherish these 22 years of friendship I had with you....Rest in Peace my dear friend you will be deeply missed!😥

To Zuni's family, I am so sorry for your lost. He was such a great guy. Someone you can really rely on. I once had a conversation with Zuni about a scratch on my car. That's when I learned of his small hobby of detailing cars. He gave me some tips and we took our break. When I came back from break I had learned that Zuni had fully cleared my scratch and even buffed out the rest of my car. It was like brand new! He didn't want anything in return he was just happy to help. A soul like Zuni was rare. Zuni was THE nice guy at work. I think back about our times and I don't have any bad memories. All of them were great all of them brought a smile to my face and Zuni buddy I miss you, we all miss you so much. Love you buddy. 

Zuni.... CRP will never be the same without. You were my locker neighbor at work. Seeing through my locker, I can see the plates, forks, spoons, cups and soy sauce. Now that you're not here, what am I gonna see now? I love the kind energy you put out. You truly cared for your friends here at work. You will be truly missed. Rest In Peace Zuni.... until we meet again. 

I have known Zuni back in the days when we used to worked at 4950 outpatient pharmacy.  He was the nicest guy I have ever known.  Always so sweet and thoughtful and very hard worker!! You would see his smile on his face everyday at work even when we are so busy taking care of the patients throughout the day.  You will not see him not smiling.  He always crack jokes and makes your day a pleasant one.  Zuni,  you will be truly missed!!!  I am still in disbelieve that someone like you , gone too soon.  Sending my deepest condolences to the family.  Rest In Peace my dear friend Zuni!  

May you rest in paradise Zuni you will truly be missed I met Zuni 12 years ago when I started CRP he was always a sweet and humble person always willing to help me do my job (EVS) but always had something to say about it lol we always joked with each other he knew how to make a person smile even on a bad day again you will be missed but never forgotten 💙

Zuni as I met him in late 2016 when I first started at kaiser CRP I was working for EVS, he was always so helpful with bringing out the bins in the cage for me as it wasn’t his job but he felt the need to do so! Zuni would sign my log book and always spark up a convo with a funny joke! As I am no longer working for kaiser I kept in contact with fellow coworkers and heard of this saddening news. Your heart was always in the right place Zuni, you were always kind and generous, you will be very missed by everyone and those who you made an impact. In the short time I met Zuni he was always very positive and hard working... People like him are very hard to come by but always make an impact once you get the chance to meet them.. you will be missed dearly❤️ May you rest easy! 

My respect for Zuni stems from all the memories  I have working with him.  It was his chocolate bars that got me through the most exhausting days, but it’s his kindness that will stay with me for a lifetime. I never saw a time he didn’t work hard, stubbornly doing my job and his job so that I didn’t have to struggle. But as I got more opportunities to work with him, I got to see the genuinely humble man that was there to be a caring friend. Keenly observant and present, Zuni was always available to lend an ear. He’s one of the few I trusted for support and received nothing less than his honest & sensible advice. I am so grateful to have known him & to say that he will be missed is a huge understatement. A cherished member of the KP CRP family is forever gone, but I know he will be kept alive in all of us. Until we meet again, Rest In Peace our dear friend Zuni! ❤️❤️

Zuni was a Beautiful person. He always helped me at work when I wasn't feeling well and he would make me laugh. He used to bring snacks and food for everyone. He was a God sent Angel always giving, helping, serving and Loving people as God would have all of us to do. He will be Greatly missed !! The CRP Cage will never be the same !!! Gone to Soon and Never Forgotten !! Rest in Heaven my Friend !!!

When I first started out at Kaiser Permanente, I remember how much Zuni helped me when I was trained as a technician.  He'd always remind me to take care of myself.  Not to over work.  And when I was scheduled to work with him, he'd always have something to say that made me laugh.  Zuni was generous too.  He always had snacks, food, and drinks to share with us.  He always helped others whenever he could, and his kindness had no limit.  He was beloved by all his friends, especially those closest to him.  I'm going to miss you Zuni.  My sincere condolences and my prayers go out to his family.   

Zuni (as I knew him) was basically the person who trained me along with Mellisa when I became a technician at Kaiser's CRP back in 2018. He understood the pressure I felt to do good so he never hesitated to help me when I would mess up on something. He was the most caring and kindest soul I ever knew even though he would always have his tough guy front. We worked together for a short amount of time (about 6 months) on morning shift and swing shift. He was the type of person that you would be able to joke around with and vent to. I would love making him mad (playing around) by calling him by his Vietnamese name "Dung". I will miss hearing his voice say "leave it for swing/graveyard" when it came to Cage work. He will be forever missed by myself and all of us at CRP. I still can't believe that you are gone! May your soul be at peace ZUNI. 😢

ZUUUUNNNNIII! As I always call him especially from across the room... I met Zuni a long time ago when we were just moving to CRP2. He is always been kind, funny, helpful and generous to me. I could not fathom why he was taken away from us so soon but all I can say is that I was honored to be in your presence... Sleep peacefully in paradise! Till we meet again...

First I would like to give my heartfelt condolences to the family, I had the pleasure of always being greeted in the morning with a smile along with good morning Teri even on the days when he wasn’t up beat. My memory I choose is how Joeann ,Mel would tease him when he would wear his Disney t-shirt with Grumpy on it, they would always say oh he  got on his shirt today so it’s going to be one of those days, I asked why what’s up with his shirt? They said it has Zuni on it, I was like naw not Zuni I never see him grumpy and Zuni would always have a good comeback( joking ) I always get a good laugh out of it. Zuni I’m going to miss my

Zuni as he was known to me was an amazing person. Great heart. He was my chocolate supplier. Even I’ve been gone from CRP. I remember the many good time I shared.

Zuni was an amazing person. I worked closely with him at CRP for a long time. He was super kind, funny and so generous. He'd always have snacks for everyone, or a smile. I spent hours just bantering with him, Wesley, Alex and Melissa. Those are some of the best memories I have working for Kaiser. It's hard to write this  because I can't believe he's gone. He was my work brother and I'm going to miss him dearly. Rest in peace my friend.

Last text I got from Zuni was less than a week ago telling him how we miss him not being in the morning shift & his respond was “well I don’t miss you SUCKER!” 😂😢
I feel blessed to have him as a friend . Zuni & I met when he first came to CRP 17 yrs ago. He is one of the most caring, thoughtful & very giving man. He always put others first. I know he’s in a better place now. I will miss your craziness & sense of humor . Who will I flip off now? Miss you buddy. Thank you for always being there for me. This world is a better place because you were in it. 🙏❤️

Zuni was a close friend and we treat each other as brother and sister.  We worked together for so many years at Kaiser.  He was a kind, caring and generous person. He had a mischievous heart and he played franks in us leaving us with many laughs to remember him by. I can always count on him when I needed help.  He was loved and liked by all. I will never forget him and all the memories I will treasure.  Rest In Peace. You are dearly missed ❤️
