Huong Nguyen was born on January 17, 1941 in Hanoi, Vietnam, to Nguyen Xuan Hoa and Le Phuc Anh. She passed away in Irvine, California, at the age of 80. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother and a wonderful friend to many.
Huong was a selfless, caring and compassionate mother who worked tirelessly with her husband to provide for their five children.
She loved spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren, such as gathering weekly for family dinners and celebrating birthdays and holidays. She also enjoyed going to the beach and traveling to Oceanside, San Diego and Santa Barbara for family trips every year.
Huong Nguyen will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Hung Duy Tran, her son Huan Duy Tran, her daughters, Huyen La and spouse Kevin, Hoai Tran and spouse Quoc Nguyen, Hang Patel and spouse Sharad, and Ha Kwong and spouse Bert, her four granddaughters and two grandsons, and her sister Minh Thinh Hu.
