Big Kham, you took care of me and my brother when we were young.  We sometimes disagree on things, but we were young and we were boys.  
It was fun and a learning experience living with you and your family for a few months when we visited USA before.  Especially with your older brother Huey/Cyrus whom we also grew up with.  We looked up to you guys for guidance and how to be "American" yet retain our "Asian" heritage.  

I remember taking your GI Joes to play without permission, but you showed restrain while showing your disapproval.  You also made sure I ate my slices of cheese which I dislike, but now I enjoy with my family.  It was easier to assimilate to US culture with a bigger cousin that was able show us how things are done and what things to say.  Especially when we got to High School and knowing you meant we were cooler since we know a Senior class man. 

You taught me many things, I took for granted till I got much older to appreciate.  We might have lost touch in recent years, but I will always remember you like if it was yesterday.

I will always think of Kham when I go to Lebua, which I have been frequenting for many years. He created a beautiful, relaxing space for so many people. Lebua, for me, has been nothing short of a sanctuary and vital to my self-care regimen.  Kham and I would often chit chat in the waiting room about health, business challenges, and CSULB, and I will miss those conversations.
