I have just heard about uncle Phong's passing this afternoon, when aunt Tam's brother came back to Vietnam and notified to my family. Sadness is covered to the whole family now, even though grandparents are too old to aware...Hope we were announced sooner...

Dear Phong,
Even though we were not in the same classes throughout the time you went to Taberd, we became friends after our school reunion. You were such a fine, simple and funny man. You'll be definitely missed by many. I'm sure that your last destination will be the place where you'll find happiness and peace always.

The news of your husband passing away had a great impact to all members of Lasan Taberd 74 Alumni. Within the hours, all of Phong's friends around the world responded with their grieving and sadness.
Phong was a fine human, extraordinary person and a truly dear friend. He will always live on in our hearts.

Phong was one of the most memorable people I have ever met. His unbridled optimism, incredible creativity, and boundless enthusiasm were inspirational to so many.
