Ben was survived by his children, Joshua Amos, and Samantha Bedarbis (Amos) and her husband Robert Bedarbis. Proud grandfather to Kayla, Owen, and Leia. They were his pride and joy. He loved spending all his time with them.
Ben is also survived by his former wife Cathy Amos, mother of his children.
Ben also leaves behind his two fur babies Trixie and Bingo. They meant the world to him.
He was also survived by his sister Lillian Jeffery (Amos) and her husband Gary Lavin, Matthew Jeffery (nephew) ,Tiffany Lavin (niece), and two great nephews, Teddy and Oliver.
He also had many cousins which he loved beyond words.
Ben loved to go fishing, his chickens and helping anyone in need day or night. The word no was never a word in his vocabulary. He could repair or build anything and always seemed to have endless knowledge. He was always the first to lend a helping hand,
and no task was ever too big. He always put everyone else before himself and was a loving and gentle soul.
He loved working on his own cars and everyone else who needed a hand on theirs. Every time we called him, it seemed like he had a different car in his driveway that he was working on. He taught us so much about cars that we loved going to car shows with him.
He loved riding his motorcycle with his friends, went to motorcycle shows and just enjoying life as he rode. We can't forget about wrestling, he was a big fan and loved Mick Foley.
He had many wonderful friendships throughout his lifetime, especially the ones he made during the many years he worked at NJ Transit Bus Garage in Wayne. Our family is so grateful for those friendships and also for the great bunch of friends that stayed by his side for all these years from his younger days.
Ben was predeceased by his mother Connie Marie Irwin and uncle Joseph Roberto. Also grandparents, aunts and uncles.
