BROADBENT, Clare S. 94, of Woodcliff Lake, NJ, formerly of Maplewood, NJ and New London, NH, passed away on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022. Clare is survived by her beloved children Bill and his wife Beverly, daughter Betsy and son Wally and his wife Shelly; her grandchildren Jamie, Parker, Walker, Noah, Natty, Julia and Victoria and her great-grandchildren Beckett and Blakely; as well as her brother Donald G. Smith. She is predeceased by her husband William W. Broadbent Sr. and her parents Roy and Eleanor Smith. Clare graduated from Douglas College and was known as “Smitty”, loved the Girl Scouts and was a Mariner, volunteered her time at church, in the community, the PEO and loved to play Bridge, read books and travel.
