Edward T. Visich Sr., of Township of Washington, NJ on Monday, December 7, 2009. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Township of Washington, NJ for many years. He served in the United States Army during WWII and was a Purple Heart recipient. He worked for Lummus Company, Bloomfield, NJ for over sixty-one years retiring in 2009. In 1955, he received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from New York University. Beloved husband of Genevieve Visich for fifty-eight years. Devoted father of Stephen Visich of Township of Washington, NJ; Kathryn Watt and her husband Brad of Huntington Beach, CA; Edward T. Visich, Jr. of Park Ridge, NJ; the late Andrea Coumbe and her husband Tim of Westfield, NJ; Robert Visich and his wife Tammy of Westwood, NJ; Peter Visich. Dear brother of Irene Lotito of Margate, FL and the late Chester Visich. Cherished grandfather of Justin, Andrew, and Daniel Watt; Ryan and Jenna Visich. Loving uncle of Karen Cassa, Janice Farnham, Linda Lehrback, and Bobby Lotito. Funeral Liturgy at Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Township of Washington, NJ on Thursday, at 11:30 AM. Interment, George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. The Family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
