Eloyce Lange

Eloyce Lange (née Knapp) Eloyce Lange, a kind, caring, and elegant woman, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025. Born in Pennsylvania, she later made her home in Edgewater, NJ; Hillsdale, NJ; Vero Beach, FL; and most recently, Old Tappan, NJ. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Charles, and is survived by her four devoted children: Charles Jr.(Jill Dewitt), Eloyce (the late Martin) LiSanti, John (Eileen) Lange, and Laurie (Ray) Donnelly. She was a cherished grandmother to eleven grandchildren—Martin (Mariel) , Joseph (Liza), and Anthony (Alyssa) LiSanti, John Jr.(Christiane), Michael (Jenna), and Matthew (Kristen)Lange, Kathryn (Sean) Kearns, Raymond III (Michelle), and Lauryn Donnelly; and CJ and Kaitlin Lange. “GG,” as she was affectionately known, also adored her fourteen great-grandchildren.

Eloyce is also survived by her loving in-laws, including Michelle and Patty Knapp, Pat Lange, Jack O’Rourke, and Robert and Maureen Lange, as well as their families. She was predeceased by her siblings Mary, Charles, Thomas, and Bob—each of whom she held dear throughout her life. A graduate of Dwight Morrow High School, where she was honored with selection to attend Girls State, Eloyce carried her sense of grace, intelligence, and leadership throughout her life. She enjoyed many happy years golfing in Vero Beach and at the Old Tappan Golf Course. In her later years, Eloyce remained active in her community as a member of The Village of Old Tappan Book Club, the Senior Advisory Committee, and The Women’s Club of Old Tappan. Her warmth, wit, and quiet strength touched all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Mass on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Saint Pius X Catholic Church, 268 Old Tappan Road, Old Tappan, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Eloyce’s memory to Spectrum for Living (a facility that provides compassionate care to adults with disabilities.) :
