COPANS, Gladys R. (Bearde), 72 of Hillsdale, NJ died January 11, 2012 at her home. Born in Cleveland, OH, she formerly lived in Flushing, NY before moving to Hillsdale, NJ in 1968. She was an avid ballroom dancer and gardener. Gladys was predeceased by her beloved husband Phillip Copans in 2002. She is survived by her sons; Brandon Copans and his wife Nicole and Donald Copans and his wife Maryse, her sister; Rita Jane Cramer and her three grandchildren; Victoria, Jonathan and Emily. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday 2-5 PM at the Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinder-kamack Rd., Westwood, NJ www.becker-funeralhome.com.
