Johanna Mulick

She was the loving wife of her devoted husband, Andrew of 52 years, who predeceased her in October of 2009.

She is survived by her loving son, Andrew F. and his partner Dawn. Cherished grandmother of Stephen and his wife Mallory, Curt and his partner Morgan, Kellie-Ann Gasparre, Kristine and her partner Justin, Daniel and his partner Gabi. Adored great grandmother of Eamon, Piper, Addie and Nick

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her brother, Joseph Schaeffer, and sisters Helen Sippie, Anne Slanina, Mary Mossay, Doris Rhatigan, and her son-in-law Nick Gasparre.

She was born February 26, 1929 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Passaic, NJ. Originally a member of Holy Trinity Church in Passaic, NJ, she graduated from Pope Pius XII High School in 1946. She went to work as a secretary at Bankers Trust in Wall Street, NYC, and later at Becton Dickinson & Co in Rutherford, NJ. She stayed there until the birth of her son in 1958. Later, she returned to work as a part time secretary at Matthews, Panariello, P.C. for 15 years.

She lived in Paramus, NJ for 50 years, later moving to Cedar Crest Village in Pompton Plains, NJ.

Friends may visit at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd, Westwood, N.J. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Council Church, Washington Township, NJ.

Entombment will follow at Garden of Memories, Paramus, N.J., where she will join her husband.
