MUELLER, Buddy (Joseph W.) passed peacefully on July 14, 2012. Born at home on July 7, 1921 to Auriella and Otto Mueller, he completed their family becoming younger brother to Kenneth and Clifford. He married the love of his life, Martha Noble on September 12, 1946, staying happily married until her passing in January 2011. Buddy was a proud and dedicated father to Clifford Mueller, James Mueller, Daniel and Eva Mueller, Diane and Paul Biggs, and Suzanne and Eugene Reilly, as well as a loving grandpa to Aimee, Jessica, Allison, Kevin, Lukas, Kim, Erin, Michael and Shane.
Bud served his country honorably as a WWII Radioman and Navy Veteran aboard a Catalina. Using his gift of gab for over forty years as a salesman, he had a long and rewarding career with the 3M Company. Outside of work, Bud was a volunteer recreation coach, football enthusiast, and a member of the Rochelle Park Rod and Gun Club. While traveling during his retirement, he enjoyed bird watching, golfing, hunting, fishing and walking the beach with his wife. As a dedicated family man, Bud was a visible presence at all of his family's activities and milestones, especially those of grandchildren. His smile and optimistic outlook on life were contagious and he reminded his family of the importance of love and laughter on a daily basis. He will be greatly missed. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association and the Dogster Group at DSNiP.org (spay/neuter clinic) in memory of Buddy Mueller would be appreciated.
