June G. Jensen

June Gloria Jensen, 97, passed peacefully on Saturday January 31, 2026.

June was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and graduated from William Taft High School. She worked at the Willys-Overland Distributors in New York City where she met her beloved husband of 63 years, Allen Jensen. They moved to Old Tappan, NJ in 1968 where they raised their son and daughter, Craig and Jill.

She was a devoted member of the Trinity Reformed Church of Old Tappan, NJ and was dedicated to serving as Sunday School secretary. Both June and Allen participated in many groups and activities at the church and developed lifelong friendships with many other parishioners.

June enjoyed many activities including going to the Bronx Botanical Gardens, summering at the Jersey Shore, visiting the Nubble Lighthouse in Maine, and walking the Piermont Pier and Bear Mountain Lake paths. She was an avid reader, and liked completing jigsaw puzzles, crafting and needlework projects. She also volunteered at the Old Tappan library and was a local Girl Scout leader.

June is survived by her son Craig Jensen, her daughter and son-in-law Jill and Dan Callaghan, and grandson Paul Jensen. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Emma Schuler, husband Allen Jensen and daughter-in-law Debi Jensen.
