WHITE, Mary E., 92, of Westwood, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024. Born 1931 in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Elizabeth Cahill. She lived in Westwood, NJ for the last 35 years. Mary is survived by her children Elizabeth (Betty) Vecchione and her husband Stephen, Mary E. Lach and her husband Anthony and Richard White and his husband Jose; her grandchildren Mary Beth Keenan (Andrew), Stephen Vecchione (Pam), Jill Graydus (Joel), Erin O’Neill (Mike), Allison Lach and Caitlin Lach; her 12 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Sean, Elizabeth, Samantha, Ellie, Charlotte, Johanna, Juliette, Joy, Jenna, Ashley and Emily. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Richard in 1993.
The family will receive guests at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Rd., Westwood, NJ on Sunday, February 11th from 2-6PM. A Mass celebrating Mary’s life and faith will be held at St. Andrew R.C. Church on Monday, February 12th at 10:30AM with interment at Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, Queens, NY to follow. The family requests no flowers, but rather memorial contributions to be made in Mary’s name to St. Andrew R.C. Church, 120 Washington Ave., Westwood, NJ.
