Born on December 28, 1955, he was the loving and devoted youngest son to the late Anna and Julius Kellar. Raised in the Bronx, Patrick graduated from Mount St. Michael and attended Westchester Community College.
Patrick met his beautiful wife, Charisse Ann Kellar, in 1972 and the two married in 1979. Their love showed every single day for over 53 years and will live on in the memories they made forever. Together they built a life filled with happiness, trust, friendship, and a home filled with heart.
They brought their only child, daughter, Julianne Marie Kellar into the world in June of 1987. Patrick always wanted a daughter and it showed. He built his life around his family and became anything they needed- coach, swim official, poetry writer, you name it, he did it. He was her biggest fan through life, and there was never a day his family did not feel loved, supported, and protected. He was and forever will be their home.
Patrick was accomplished in his career, working his way up in the tire industry to the top Account Representative in the Tristate Region. Along the way, he built a network of associates who acknowledged his talent in the trade and valued his support, advice, and friendship.
Patrick was the light in the room and made friends everywhere he went. His laughter and warmth filled his family, friends, and community. His strength was tested in the last two years as he battled and defeated prostate cancer in 2024 and faced stage four pancreatic cancer which metastasized into the liver in March of 2025. Never once did he give up as he conquered 17 rounds of chemotherapy. He never let his family down and held on to hope and prayer during the hardest of times.
His legacy and memory will be carried on forever in the hearts and minds of all who loved him. We are keeping you, Patrick, always and forever in our thoughts and hearts. May you rest in peace.
