So sad to hear about Pete's passing. I'm a member of NVOT Class of 1978. I have fond memories of working for him as summer school secretary during my first two years of college. He insisted I call him Pete, even though it felt so weird after four years of calling him Mr. Fedorchak. May he rest in peace - he was such a good man.

I worked with Pete at NVOT from 1965 on He initiated a course entitled “ Technical and Business Writing “ which enabled students to learn writing skills more related to their Cooperative Education program .

He was a good listener and a man who was not afraid to offer and ask for help when it was needed. His departure was a day of loss for me and for the district.

I used his expertise in theatrical lighting to rescue myself from the accursed dark spot on stage left.

He and I consoled each other over another Giants loss.

The sheer diversity of our contacts affirms what we all have lost. “ Good night, sweet prince. May angels beat thee to thy rest. “

Pete was a wonderful human being and a great dad and granddad. I'm so grateful I got to know him, and be part of his and Michele's extended family, when their Diane and my niece Elaine got married. He will be missed terribly.

I would like to express my sympathy to the Fedorchak family. I was a student at Northern Valley high school, class of ‘74. I became an English teacher because of the love and passion for literature and life that Mr. Fedorchak instilled in me. He impacted so many lives, and will not be forgotten.
