Ralph proudly served his country in the Army before embarking on a long and successful career. He worked as a truck driver for the Teamsters and spent 40 years as a warehouse foreman at Kurt Versen. His dedication and work ethic were admired by all who knew him.
A man of many passions, Ralph loved listening to music especially the oldies like Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra. He was an avid sports fan, especially devoted to the Giants and Rangers. Some of his happiest moments were spent with family at the Jersey Shore, creating cherished memories that will live on in their hearts.
Ralph was deeply involved in his community as a member of the Golden Age Club in Park Ridge and as a former Exalted Ruler of the Westwood Elks. His contributions to these organizations reflected his commitment to service and camaraderie.
He is survived by his children: Michael Santoro; Joseph Santoro and his wife Jill; Maryann Collins and her husband Cazadetti; and Christine Santoro and her husband Joseph. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Kelvin and Emma; sisters Minnie Florin, Martha Guido, and Maryann Bell with her husband Robert; sister-in-law Betty Santoro; and many nieces and nephews. Ralph was predeceased by his wife Katherine in 2024, his son Ralph, brothers Robert and Joseph, and sisters Rose and Virginia.
A Celebration of Ralph's Life will be held at a later date at the Westwood Elks. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
