HARTWICK, Robert J., 96, of Westwood, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 14th, 2016. Devoted father of Doris Hartwick-Truax of Alameda, CA and Nancy Hartwick and her husband Herbert of Hartland, ME, grandfather of Trevor Scribner, Todd Scribner and Danielle Gagnon and her husband Philip, great-grandfather of Tyler and Eli Scribner. He is predeceased by his wife and special friend Irma Hartwick (nee Celovsky) of 62 years and his brother Arthur Hartwick. Robert volunteered for the Navy and served 4 years during WWII. When he retired he was an inspection foreman for Acme Gear Co. of Englewood, NJ.
