Salvatore J. Fornatale

Sal was born in New York City to Pietro and Vita Maria Fornatale. Beloved husband of Martha Fornatale (nee Nash). Devoted and loving father of Jackie Fornatale, and Mike Fornatale and his wife Wendy.

Before retiring, he was a vice president in the savings and loan industry. Upon retiring, he worked for the Park Ridge Marriott. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Park Ridge, where he served as a Eucharistic minister. Sal was a Navy veteran of World War II having served our country proudly in the Pacific Theater.

The family will receive their friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, on Sunday, Sept. 11 from 2 to 7 p.m. The family will gather with their relatives and friends for the Funeral Liturgy at Our Lady of Mercy R.C. Church, Park Ridge, on Monday, Sept. 12 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Cemetery of the Ascension, Airmont, N.Y. Donations may be made in Sal's name to Tri-Boro Ambulance Corps or The Family Assistance Program both in care of the Borough of Park Ridge.
