I was so sorry to learn of Terry's passing. My heart goes out to the whole family. 
I had the pleasure of living across the street from the Romano family growing up in Paramus. Suzanne was my best childhood friend for many years, and I spent many days and nights in the Romano house. I have so many fond memories of Terry. Of playing under her watchful eye. Of family road trips (that I was kindly invited to join), where she would be making sandwiches in the front seat while Lou drove. Meanwhile, Louis, Sallyanne, Suzanne and I fought for space in the back seat of their Cadillac. 
I remember the sideways smile she always gave to my silly antics, or when Suzanne and I were trying to convince her to allow us to do something we probably shouldn't. To me she was kind, generous and most of all good humored.  
My condolences on the loss of such a lovely woman.

I was so fortunate by have spent wonderful times with Terry and Louis. Her grace and zest for life set an example for all that were lucky enough to know her. I know this is such a difficult  time for her family, especially  Louis, but the memories you all have of her will keep her alive in your hearts forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

It was always a pleasure visiting with Terry at all of John Castellano’s Christmas parties.   She always made a pit stop at the Cracker Barrel store on her way down.   My favorite story is how she couldn’t tell her parents how much rent she was really paying for her Brooklyn apartment when she was first married.  May she Rest In Peace and our sincere condolences to the entire family.

We were so happy to have known Terry. I first met Terry through her cousin, John Castellano, back in college. Terry booked  me and my husband‘s first vacation together for us, Antigua.  I know she had a lot of patience for all of the questions I had for her before we booked!  We’ve also had the pleasure of enjoying her company  at many of John’s Christmas parties and events over the years. I always loved hearing John’s  stories about Terry, giving her the nickname, The Queen of Paramus.   We always enjoyed spending time with Terri and Lou at these events, we will miss her deeply.  Our sincere condolences to the entire family. 

My condolences to the Terry Romano's family. I met her over 30 years when I was introduced to her by her cousin John Castellano. She planned spring break trips for us at FDU and some trips post graduate. She was always nice, friendly and would tell you like it is. I remember spending time with her and her husband Lou years ago in Las Vegas for John's birthday weeekend.  John often referred to her as the Queen of Paramus. I was sad to hear the news of her passing. She will be missed along with her old school values. I remember her fondly.

Little I knew that this morning, 1/26/21, God was going to call your name, in life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone, for part of me went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always by our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again. RIP Cousin Theresa, we love you. Vinny , Rosellen and Family.

Share "A" Favorite Memory.  I  have one hundred that I can think of off the top of my mind.    We are cousins, Theresa being the second grandchild to our shared grandparents Rocco and Teresa Urgo, I being the youngest.   Theresa's father Alfred was my mother Dolores's brother.  My cousin by birth, my second mother by choice.  We are separated by almost 30 years, we never "played" together as kids she was a mother figure not a contemporary.   Some of my happiest moments in life especially during the 1970's through the 1990's came from times I was with Theresa and her family, Louis Sr/Jr, Sallyanne, and Suzanne.   Maybe I was 6 she called my mother in Brooklyn and asked me what I wanted for my b-day I said a record player, a record player showed up with her.   I recall her 50th in 1987 and heading up to the Rye Town Hilton to celebrate.  Christmas in Puerto Rico 1987.  In 1989 I decided I wanted to have a rhinoplasty, since the doctor was in a neighboring town of Paramus and I was only 22 I asked her to come to the consultation as my parents lived 80 miles away.  Since we were going to the "plastic surgeon" we thought this was a high-end event and she came well dressed,  wearing her full-length mink coat.    Many 4ths of July's were spent on Ivy Place with the Castellano's arriving before the Romano's even awoke.   I have many letters she sent me with a little $ while I was studying in England in 1990.   I helped polish what seemed like an endless supply of silver for the holidays.    Louis Jr wedding in 1984 was a “major trip" for me and I looked forward to it for months and I was invited (I am sure I invited myself) to come early and spent Thanksgiving with the Romano's and Jay's.   She was taking me to Disney in the 80's we were going to drive but she had started to have some back issues and we could not go.  The last few years we had some great pre-Christmas lunch's.  I am comforted that she will rest beside my parents,  our Aunt and Uncle and her grandson.

There is nothing like the loss of a Mom no matter how old you are.  Terry was a loving, giving and caring person that was like a second Mom to me. I am so grateful that I got to be part of her life.  I will always hold dear in my heart and cherish all the times together through the years. 

We are so very sorry for your loss.  We hope the many wonderful memories you have of Theresa will keep you strong throughout this difficult time.
