Thomas Joseph Farrell

TJ was a gentle soul whose greatest joys were found in the simple pleasures of life — the sounds of his radio playing music, including his favorite band “KISS” and listening and cheering on his beloved New York Giants and New York Mets. TJ will be remembered for his welcoming, friendly, kind spirit, and the warmth he shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Above all else, TJ was devoted to his family. He was predeceased by his parents Shirley and Thomas Farrell. He is survived by his loving sisters Jean O’Neill, Laura Chase and her husband Steven, and Denise Roy. He was a proud and affectionate uncle to Marty O’Neill III and his wife Samantha, Laura Jean O’Neill, Wayne O’Neill, Christina Thompson and her husband Colby, Jeannie Chase, Charlotte and Chloe Roy. His heart overflowed with love for his grandnieces and grandnephews, Chase and Hailey Thompson and Olivia O’Neill, who brought him endless smiles.

Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of TJ’s life at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ, on Thursday, January 15th from 3:00–7:00 PM, with a Celebration of his Life and Faith at 6:15 PM.
