Mrs. Virginia D. Puig

Virginia D. Puig (nee Rodriguez), 75, of Park Ridge, NJ entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 29, 2009. Beloved wife of 53 years to Vicente P. Puig, Sr. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she attended Ursulinas La Habana in Cuba, graduated from the Academy of St. Joseph High School in Brentwood, New York and Pace College in New York. She is survived by three children, Virginia and her husband Ray Dolan, Vincent and his wife Jolene Puig, and daughter Victoria Puig. Virginia was blessed with three grandchildren, Christine, Lauren, and Andrew. She is also survived by her brother Joseph Rodriguez and his wife Marlene.She had a love of family and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and our lives will forever be touched by her generous, loving, and humorous spirit. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ.Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Church, Park Ridge on Wednesday, December 2nd at 10 AM.Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
