William Lintner Jr.

Dr. William Lintner, Jr., 82 of Montvale, NJ passed away on September 28, 2013 at his home. Born in Hackensack, NJ, he lived in Hillsdale, NJ before moving to Montvale, NJ in 1977. William was a professional engineer for Engineered Mechanical Systems in Elmwood Park, NJ for 20 years and prior he was the founder and officer of L & L Chemical Construction & Engineering in Carlstadt, NJ. William was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church, Woodcliff Lake, NJ, member and former president of Hackensack Golf Club since 1979 and he was an avid golfer and loved to travel. He was predeceased by his first wife, Doris Lintner in 1992 and his second wife, Patricia Lintner in 2012. William is survived by his children, William Lintner, III and his wife Diane and Susan Bachstetter and her husband Stephen; his grandchildren, Cara Hurd and her husband Tim, William Lintner and his wife Nicole, Paul Bachstetter and his wife Yusby and David Bachstetter and his wife Lynn and his great grandchildren, Kaleigh, Veronica, Valentina, Brandon and Brooke. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday 4-8pm at the Becker Funeral Home. Family and friends to gather at Christ Lutheran Church, 32 Pascack Rd., Woodcliff Lake, NJ on Thursday 9:45am for a 10am funeral service. Interment to follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church, 32 Pascack Rd., Woodcliff Lake, NJ 07677 in his memory.
