Alfina (Neri) Milluzzo, 54, of South Windsor, beloved wife for 31 years of Santo Milluzzo, passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Saturday, July 27, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on February 18, 1970 in Hartford, she was the cherished daughter of Frank and Maria (Aiello) Neri. Alfina graduated from East Catholic High School, class of 1988 and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from UConn in 1992. She started her career as an Assistant Buyer for Casual Corner, then was Office Manager at Astro Precision, and most recently a DoTerra Essential Oils representative.
Alfina lived life to the fullest, turning the smallest of things into grand adventures. Her smile, once seen could not be forgotten. She befriended all with ease and instantly made relationships. She left indelible marks wherever she stepped foot. She was never hesitant to take charge where needed especially if it was to help someone. She loved to get involved everywhere she went. Alfina was a former South Windsor Jaycees member. She also was very active in the schools and around town, serving as President of the Principals Advisory Committee at South Windsor High school, helping with the performing arts in Middle and High school, bringing Italian Language curriculum into the High School and single handedly and relentlessly fought to change policies that would make school bus stops safer. She taught CCD across multiple parishes for many years and helped with Vacation Bible School. She was always present for her kids, even taking time to chaperone on countless school and community trips. Above all, Alfina will be remembered for how strong of a woman she was, her devout faith in God and for being the rock for her family that she loved so much, especially her three boys.
In addition to her devoted husband and parents, Alfina will be forever missed by her three adored sons, Sebastian Milluzzo and wife Delecia, Gabriel Milluzzo and Daniel Milluzzo. She also leaves to cherish her memory, two brothers, Salvatore and Joseph Neri; her brother-in-law, Salvatore Milluzzo; nieces and nephews, Elaina Neri, Andrew Neri, Miguela Milluzzo and partner Travis Martin, Lucia Stewart and husband Jason and Zachary Milluzzo; great-nieces and great-nephews, Isabella Michaelson, Luccas Stewart, Noemie Martin and Theron Martin and five loving Godchildren, as well as many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and dear friends. She was predeceased by her sisters-in-law, Rosanna Neri and Norma Milluzzo.
