Anne Cronin (Bees)

Anne (Bees) Cronin 73, of North Providence, RI beloved wife of Glenn L. Cronin, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 in North Providence. Born in Framingham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Elizabeth (Colby) Bees and lived in the Great Hartford area for many years before moving to North Providence. She was a graduate of the McDuffy School for Girls in Monson, MA.

For many years she was employed as a Medical Secretary at Hartford Hospital Bliss 8E and later at a local doctor’s office. She loved to play the piano and was a former member of the Sweet Adelines. She enjoyed the outdoors and was a fervent animal lover.

Besides her husband she is survived by her son, Brian Cronin of Rocky Hill, two daughters:

Samantha Andrews of Cromwell and Karen Dillon and her husband Tom of Wethersfield, three grandchildren; Adam Cronin, Brandon Dillon and Stephanie Dillon, two nephews, Jeff Bees in Massachusetts, Jon Bees of Glastonbury and a niece Sandra Watras of Glastonbury. She is also survived by her beloved Bejon; Emma.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield. Funeral services and burial will be private.
