Antonio G. Tony"" Marzano

Antonio G. ""Tony"" Marzano, 64, of Wethersfield beloved husband of Concettina ""Tina"" (Puglielli) Marzano for 35 years, passed away Monday, (November 7, 2011) at home with his devoted family by his bedside. Born on January 15, 1947 in Bisaccia, province of Avellino, Italy, he was the son of the late Rocco and Gerarda (Castellano) Marzano. Tony was a mechanical contractor and owned and operated Marzano Plumbing and Heating in Hartford since 1979. Tony had a passion for hunting, nature and the outdoors. He enjoyed homemade wine and vintage cars. Tony treasured friendships and will never be forgotten by his family and friends. He was a member of UNICO National, Wethersfield chapter, Franklin Avenue Merchant's Association, Confederazione Italiana and a longtime, faithful member of South Congregational Church, Hartford. Besides his wife, Tony is survived by his children, daughters Laura Kemper and husband Thomas of Norristown, PA, Melissa Marzano of Wethersfield, Stefania Marzano of San Diego, CA and son, Tony Marzano of Wethersfield; two sisters, Antonietta Gervasio of Wethersfield and Maria DePaola of Avellino, Italy; his mother-in-law, Vittoria Puglielli; sister-in-law, Francesca Puglielli; brother-in-law, Cesidio Puglielli; nephew, Alex and his wife Nola Gervasio and family and a niece, Carla and husband Jeffrey Nugent and family.

Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at South Congregational Church, 277 Main Street, Hartford with Pastor Adam Soderberg officiating. The burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers donations in Tony's memory may be made to the American Lung Association of CT, 45 Ash St., East Hartford, CT 06108.
