
Barbara (Newton) Reynolds, 86, of Cromwell and formerly of Wethersfield, loving mother died Monday, (November 9, 2009) at Covenant Village of Cromwell. She was born on July 29, 1923 in Hartford, and was the daughter of the late Edwin and Ruth (Kelsey) Newton. Barbara was a graduate of Wethersfield High School and a member of Second Church of Christ Scientist. She formerly worked as a Paralegal at Halloran & Sage Law Firm before becoming a homemaker to six children. She loved arts and crafts, ceramics, knitting and baking. She resided at Covenant Village for the last 14 years. Besides her ex-husband, Raymund Reynolds of Wethersfield, she is survived by five children; Stephen Reynolds of Newington, Gregory Reynolds and wife Pamela of Wethersfield, Marcia and husband Stephen Muller of Glastonbury, Margery Reynolds of Rocky Hill, and Raymond Reynolds of Block Island, R;, and a sister, Ruth Ramsdell of Florida. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Lauren Reynolds of Waltham, MA; a brother Edwin Newton; and two sisters Marjorie Mayorga and Marion Rickerd. Funeral Services and burial will be private.
