

Beverly (Santoro) Accarpio, 75, of Newington, joined her best friend and husband Frank who she missed terribly on March 1, 2015. She passed peacefully at Hartford Hospital with her family around her. She was the daughter of Raymond and Mary (Orlando) Santoro. Beverly grew up in the Front Street area of Hartford and moved to Newington shortly after getting married and remained a lifelong resident. Beverly belonged to the Young Italian American Association and was the General Manager of Indian Hill Country Club in Newington for 25 years. She was a devoted grandmother and always enjoyed being around her grandchildren. She loved going to their games, recitals and school events. They were the love of her life and was happiest in their presence. She sadly leaves her sons Frank, Thomas and Daniel and her loving daughter-in-law Jill Accarpio. She leaves her grandchildren, Michael and Ellie Clancy, Melina, Joseph, Jaclyn, Anthony, Matthew, Mark, Nicholas, Dominic and Dora Accarpio. She was a loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Besides her parents and her husband Frank, she was predeceased by her brother Raymond. She leaves a brother David Santoro of Wethersfield and brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Tina Santoro of Georgia. She also leaves a loving uncle Sal Orlando. A special thanks to Vinnie and Josephine Sinapoli, and Angela and the late Subby Gattinella for always being there for Beverly. Funeral services will leave Thursday March 5th at 9 a.m. from the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 183 Church Street, Newington. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Calling hours are Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
