Charles C. McCobb Jr.

Charles “Charlie” Chase McCobb, Jr., 81, of Wethersfield, beloved husband for 56 years of Heidi (Dopichei) McCobb, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Born in Springfield, MA on January 9, 1944, he was the son of the late Charles C. McCobb and Margaret I. (Drummond) McCobb. Charlie graduated from Agawam High School, received his Bachelor’s Degree from American International College and earned his MBA from Cornell University. He served proudly in the U.S. Army. He worked in finance, retiring in 2000.

Charlie was a longtime member of the Wethersfield Country Club. In addition to golfing, he enjoyed skiing, vacationing with his family, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the First Church of Christ, Wethersfield.

A loving husband, father and grandfather, Charlie will be forever missed by his devoted wife Heidi; two daughters, Claudia Linsley and husband Joel and Stephanie Cyr and husband Kenneth and his four adored grandchildren, Chase, Connor and Aidan Linsley and Dylan Cyr. He is also survived by his sister, Pamela Psholka and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
