Daniel Mark Keane

Daniel Mark Keane, 40, died unexpectedly on March 1, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas. Born in Springfield, MA, he was the son of Judith Murphy Keane and the late Richard M. Keane, and is survived by four brothers, Sean M. Keane, Timothy B. Keane and his wife Heather, Patrick J. Keane, Matthew E. Keane and his wife Jennie, and Colleen Keane. He also leaves many loving aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Dan was a 1993 graduate of Wethersfield High School and was President of his class for four years, he was a member of the Concert Choir, Manager and member of the Choralaires, Co-Captain of the swim team and a star football and baseball player. He attended Xavier University in Cincinnati, and was a member of the swim team. Dan coached Wethersfield Barracudas and Pine Acres Swim Teams for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Sacred Heart Church, 56 Hartford Avenue, Wethersfield. Calling hours are Saturday from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. The burial will be private in Village Cemetery.
