Eduardo Gallo

Eduardo Gallo, 81, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of Concetta (Calafiore) Gallo, entered into eternal rest on Friday (February 10, 2012) with his loving family by his side. He was born in Palazzolo Acreide, Province of Syracuse, Sicily on May 22, 1930 to the late Salvatore and Sebastania (Tine) Gallo. Eduardo worked as a Barber at Sal's Barber Shop in Wethersfield for many years. He was also a member of the Italian American Stars Club. Besides his wife of 53 years, Eduardo is survived by his sons, Salvatore Gallo of Wethersfield, and Riccardo Gallo and his wife Tara of East Haven, his daughters, Anna Maria Gallo and Beatrice Gallo both of Wethersfield; and his adored grandchildren, Luis, Justin, Marissa, Sarah, Kailey, Ruthy and Joseph. He is also survived by his sister, Dina Gallo of Italy and his beloved niece, Clotilde Gallo of Caracas, Venezuela. Eduardo was predeceased by his brother, Paul Gallo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, (February 15, 2012) at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Everyone is asked to please go directly to church. The burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill.
