Born in Hartford on July 12, 1988, he was the son of Llara Vergara and the late Ernesto Gonzalez, Jr. Ernesto was a proud and loving father of two and was anticipating another on the way. He loved writing and listening to music, spending time with his family and friends. But, most importantly, Ernesto loved being the life of the party. He was known for always saying “Olvida y vive!” Meaning live life and forget! There are absolutely no words to describe his loss other than painful emptiness. If you knew Ernesto, you’d know that that would be the last thing he would want you to experience. He was the happiest, most alive and free-spirited person ever and he would love for everyone to be the same. He was forgiving and loving and the love he had for his wife and kids was special and unique and unlike any other.
Besides his wife Leslieann, Ernesto is survived by his two children, Xyone and Alizaye Gonzalez; his mother, Llara Vergara and her husband Cesar Enamorado of Hartford and a brother, Dwayne Gonzalez, along with many other friends and extended family.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Sunday (October 17th) at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
