Jennifer Marie Medina

Jennifer M. Medina, 44, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026. Born in Hartford on October 20, 1981, she was the daughter of Darlene (Teodorczyk) Rivera and the late Hector Medina. Predeceased by her brother Hector Medina. She loved her job as a nurse spanning over the past two decades, always caring for others and reinforcing her love for family. Jennifer enjoyed music and spent time at the beach as much as possible. She found great joy in entertaining loved ones, cooking for others, laughing with friends, creating lasting memories and living life to the fullest.

Jennifer will be forever missed by her mother Darlene; her son, Cylas Vega; her brother, Joseph; her nieces and nephews, Ayanna, Xaven, Analise and Riellie and her longtime friend, Lynnette Sanchez Lozada, as well as many extended family members, co-workers and friends.

Funeral services and burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford will be private. The family invites relatives and friends to visit the cemetery and leave flowers if they choose. The D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, Wethersfield has been entrusted with the arrangements.
