John J. Speziale Jr., 64, beloved husband of Silvia (Misseri) Speziale, of Wethersfield, entered into God’s care on Saturday, December 23, 2023 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. John was born in Hartford and was son to the late John J. Sr. and Josephine (Maliszewski) Speziale.
John was known for his dedication to family and his passion to ride his motorcycle anytime he could. He looked forward to his family gatherings and cooking, where his selfless, caring, kind and generous nature always took over. He enjoyed vacationing anytime he could. Sharing that time with family and friends was important to him, telling jokes and making sure everyone was having fun. His smile and laughter will remain unforgettable. He cherished every moment, living life to the fullest.
John and Silvia ran Allegro Café alongside her brother, Paul Misseri, for over 41 years. John worked together side by side with family to ensure everyone’s needs were taken care of.
In addition to his devoted wife Silvia, he will also be dearly missed by his son, John J. Speziale, III and Amber Symone-Encarnacion; his precious granddaughter, Josephine Speziale; his siblings, Angela Speziale, Mary Hine, David Speziale and Louis Speziale; his brother-in-law, Paul Misseri; his nieces and nephews, Giuseppe, Jennifer, Deanna and Kevin; great niece, McKenzie and great nephew, Cameron.
