Jose Alberto Pereira

Jose Alberto Pereira, 54, of Wethersfield, beloved husband of Gladys (Almodovar) Pereira, passed away on Thursday (July 25, 2013). Born in Hartford on July 31, 1958, he was the son of Epifania (Ramos) Pereira of Hartford and the late Hermenegildo Pereira. Jose was the manager of Fast Go Muffler in Hartford. Including Gladys, his loving wife of 32 years, he is survived by his two sons, Joel Pereira and his wife Melissa of Hartford and Yamil Gonzalez and his wife Grace of Rocky Hill; four adored grandchildren, Janelly Gonzalez, Sean Pereira, Nicholas Pereira and Samantha Gonzalez; four brothers, Edwin Pereira of Hartford, Hector Pereira of Orlando, FL, Ricardo Pereira and his wife Marian of Bloomfield and Noel Pereira of Hartford and three sisters, Nelis Pereira, Rita Pereira and Elizabeth Pereira, all of Hartford.

Calling hours will be held TODAY from 3-4 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 4 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 29 Wadsworth St., Hartford.
