

Lillian Theresa (Cubeddu) Ragalis, 80, of Wethersfield, beloved wife of John I. Ragalis for 54 years, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015. She was born in New Britain, daughter of the late Leonard and Theresa (Lombardo) Cubeddu. She graduated from New Britain High School, class of 1953 and attended New Britain General Hospital School of Nursing. John and Lillian were married in 1960 and moved to Wethersfield in 1968, where she resided until her death. Over the past 10 years they have spent their winters in Clearwater Beach, FL. She was a faithful communicant of the Church of the Incarnation for 42 years and the Church of Saint Brendan in Clearwater Beach, FL. For many years she was an active member of the Women's Club and Flower Committee at Incarnation Church. She accompanied her husband on many business and vacation travels around the world. While her main residence was in Wethersfield she also lived with her family in Seattle, WA, Huntington Beach, CA and Nottingham, UK. Over the years, she has visited all 50 states and many countries of Europe and Asia. She was also an excellent cook, cake decorator, and gardener who produced many beautiful flower arrangements. In addition to her beloved husband, John, she is survived by her three loving children; sons, Edward and his wife Lori of New Britain, John and his wife Amy of New York City and her daughter, Dr. Kathryn and her husband Gregory Davis of Boston. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kaitlin and Ryan Ragalis, daughter and son of Edward and Lori; her sisters, Mary Medon and Elsie Brochu and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Edward Callahan, in 1955. Calling hours will be Saturday from 8:30 to 10:15 at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. The burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain.
