Loretta A. (Romano) Grasso

Loretta A. (Romano) Grasso, 83 of Wethersfield, died peacefully Thursday, December 29, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born in New Haven on January 9, 1933. Loretta retired from the State of CT after many years of dedicated service. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends at AHEPA. Loretta was a gentle soul, and her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. A loving mother and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her four children, Linda Gallo, Mark Grasso, Debra Bruno and husband Steven and Carla Grasso and her eight adored grandchildren, Brianna, Teresa, Bianca, Dylan, Anthony, Frank, Elias and Jeana. She is also survived by her twin sister, Dora McQueeney and husband Bernard, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday (January 4) at 10 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield. Everyone is asked to please go directly to the church. Burial will be private and there are no calling hours. Donations in Loretta’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
