Margaret Glazewski Babin

Margaret (Glazewski) Babin, of Wethersfield, beloved wife for almost 60 years of Peter J. Babin, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday (August 30, 2013) at Ellis Manor in Hartford. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Anna (Milosnicki) Glazewski. Margaret and Peter settled in Wethersfield, where they lived for over 50 years before recently moving together to Ellis Manor. She worked for New Departure in Meriden many years ago before starting her career with the Wethersfield Board of Education, where she worked part time as a Teacher’s Aide for 32 years. She was a member of AARP and enjoyed flowers and gardening. In addition to her loving husband Peter, Margaret will be dearly missed by her son, David Babin of Wethersfield and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Luke’s Church, Hartford. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Family and friends are invited to call prior to the Mass, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
