Besides her husband, Mario, Maria is survived by her five sons and their wives, Gianfranco and Suzanne of Hartford, Dino and Tina of Newington, Roberto and Michele of Southington, Mario, Jr. and Rebecca of Feeding Hills, MA, and Anthony and Rachel of Southington. Maria will be sadly missed by the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Beth, Stephanie, Marissa, Melanie, Megan, Mario, Gino, Lena, Isabelle, Noah and Luke. She is also survived by her sisters, Bice and her husband, Fulvio DiBacco, and Eliana and her husband, Gino DiLoreto, all of Italy; her in-laws, Aquilina Liberatore, Antonio and Ermelinda Tedeschi, Gregorio and Evelina Tedeschi, and Maria D'Andrea; and many nieces and nephews from across America, Venezuela and Italy. Maria was predeceased by her sister, Anna DiLoreto; brothers, Dario Liberatore and Antonio Liberatore; and grandson, Edoardo Tedeschi. Maria was such a special person, loved by everyone for her kindness and devotion to family and friends. She was well known for her delicious cooking. Her made-from-scratch pasta, sauce, pizza and pizzelles were second to none. There was always enough food for anyone who dropped by...which was often. Many friends and family still have and cherish her knitted hats, sweaters, afghans and Christmas tree skirts. Maria immigrated to this country 50 years ago and was very proud of the family she created, all of which are still very close because of her example. She will be missed by all.
