Marie (Marino) Lang

Marie (Marino) Lang, 72, of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully on Friday (March 28, 2014) surrounded by her loving family. Marie was born on November 29, 1941 in Providence, RI, a daughter of the late Leo and Rose (Tedeschi) Marino. Marie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Tom; her son, Michael and his two children; her son, Tommy and his wife and their two children; three sisters, Joan Johnson, Cynthia Holmes and Darlene Griffin and several nieces and nephews. Marie was predeceased by her parents, Leo and Rose (Tedeschi) Marino; her sister, Roseann Oliver and daughter-in-law, Maria Lang, wife of Michael. Marie will be missed by all who knew her. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Marie was an avid reader and loved to travel. She will be remembered for her kindness toward others, sense of humor and love of life.

Calling hours are Friday (April 4) from 4-8 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday (April 5) at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, 601 Silas Deane Hwy., Wethersfield. Everyone is asked to go directly to the church. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Middlesex Hospital Hospice for their support and care in Marie’s final days. In lieu of flowers, family and friends can honor Marie’s life by making a memorial donation in her name to Middlesex Hospital Hospice.
