

Marion Curley Watts of Wethersfield, loving wife of the late John Watts, III for over 67 years, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023, on St. Patrick’s Day with her family by her side. Born in Hartford in 1922, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Jane Curley and was a lifelong resident of the Greater Hartford area. She graduated from Bulkeley High School, Hartford in 1940. She was a woman of family and faith. She loved spending time with her extended family who cherished her and who were her greatest joy. With her late husband, she helped found John Watts Associates, Inc.
She was survived by four sons and daughters-in-laws: John A. Watts IV and his wife Janet of Redwood City, CA, Joseph D. Watts and his wife Laurie of Framingham, MA, James D. Watts and his wife Peggy of Wethersfield and Jeffrey Watts and his wife Elaine of Rocky Hill; her grandchildren, John A. Watts M.D. and his wife Jennifer Jarosz M.D. , Lisa Natkin and her husband Jon, Keith Watts and his wife Maya, Timothy Watts, Jessica Poole and her husband Michael, Nicole Pisano and her husband Steven, Craig Watts and his wife Kim and Cara Watts; and her great grandchildren, William Watts, Meilani Watts, Mea Watts, Molly Watts, Cameron Poole, Colin Natkin, Aubrie Poole, Julian Pisano, Lucy Natkin and Wesley Watts. She was predeceased by her husband Jack; her brother, Joe Curley and his wife Doris; her sister, Margaret Walsh; her niece, Jane Richards and her husband Elbert, her cousin, Bob Young and his wife Margaret and her nephews, Joe Curley and Mark Young.
The funeral is Friday, March 24, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of the Incarnation, 544 Prospect Street, Wethersfield. Everyone is invited to go directly to the church. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, East Hartford. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, March 23, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield.
