

Born on August 27, 1930 in Hartford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Lattora) Lisella. She is predeceased by her brother Joseph Lisella, Jr.
Mary was an excellent cook and she loved to entertain family and friends. Mary was very generous with her time and she was always willing to listen and provide encouragement.
A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary will be forever missed by her two sons Bert Blackburn and his wife Alita of Sacramento, CA and Ron Blackburn and his wife Terry of East Millinocket, ME; her four beautiful granddaughters, Ria Croshere, Brett Turner, Rene Blackburn, Kelly Blackburn and her three cherished great-granddaughters, Ellzie Turner, Naomi Turner and Juliette Croshere. Mary also leaves a loving sister and brother-in-law Dolores and Mickey Carotenuti as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family would like extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses, aides and entire staff at The Summit of Plantsville for their compassion, warmth and loving care. Also, a very special thank you to Connecticut Community Care for all the help they provided thru the years to Mary.
