

Maryann Loprete, 27, of South Glastonbury, daughter of Rocco and Angela (Catricala) Loprete of South Glastonbury, died Thursday (January 28, 2010) as the result of an automobile accident. She was born February 13, 1982, in Hartford. She was a graduate of Rocky Hill High School and Central Connecticut State University. Maryann worked at the Barcelona Restaurant in Stamford. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends. Besides her parents, she is survived by her brother, Joseph Loprete of South Glastonbury; maternal grandparents, Antonio and Letizia Catricala of Hartford; uncles and aunts, Tommaso and Vilma Catricala of Glastonbury, Salvatore and Adriana DeFlippo and Bob and Lucy Petrolito, all of Rocky Hill and Pietro and Anna Loprete and Elizabeth and Michael Vonella, all of Italy; cousins, Bobby Petrolito, Lucia Pirulli, Rocco DeFlippo, Gianni and Stephanie DeFlippo, Giuseppe Loprete and Stella and Giuseppe Vonella. Funeral service will be Monday at 9 a.m. from the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Luke Church, 66 Bolton Street, Hartford. The burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours are Sunday from 4-7 p.m. at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel.
